The Natchez Equipment Company building has been standing since the 1950s but most of it came crashing down Friday when Randall Vinson of Backlund and Associates knocked the brick and mortar structure with the bucket of a trackhoe. The international style building exhibited prairie style influences, similar to the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright, with its long, low roof and expansive windows. The demolition is to make way for the new convention center.
