An afternoon accident on State and Martin Luther King Jr. streets snarled traffic and sent three people to local hospitals with injuries. Above, American Medical Response medic David Clifton helps secure Carolyn Brown before helping her out of a Pontiac Grand Am. Two other cars were involved in the accident, a Voyager van driven by Dan Dillard and a Lincoln Continental driven by Thelma Newsome. The accident occured around 2:30 p.m. Dillard and Brown were treated and released from Natchez Community Hospital. Newsome was treated and released from Natchez Regional Medical Center.
