The XYZ (extra years of zest) club of First Presbyterian Church will meet Wednesday at 11:45 a.m. for a covered dish luncheon.

Walter Tipton, director of Tourism and Development for the city of Natchez will be the speaker. Tipton was born and raised in Natchez.

Upon graduating from high school he attended Mississippi State University where he earned his degree in Accounting.

He worked for Tennessee River Pulp and Paper Company in Corinth and later moved to Chicago where he received his masters degree in management and finance from Northwestern University’s MBA program.

After 19 years in the finance arena and four years in the hospitality industry he has returned to Natchez.

He has two children, Eric 15, and Lauren 10. He enjoys racketball, chess and water sports.
