Firefighter James Credit works Monday afternoon to battle a four-acre grass fire in Kingston. Firefighters battled the fire for about three hours before getting it under control. &uot;People were burning off land, and it got away from them,&uot; said Cmdr. Oliver Stewart with the Natchez Fire Department. No one was injured, but Stewart said such fires are why caution should be used when burning in dry conditions.
