Four months ago, Ferriday High’s football team went down to Vinton High and suprised the district champions with a first round upset win before falling to Many in the second round.

Last week, the Trojan basketball team went to Opelousas Catholic as a wild card from District 3-2A and upset the Vikings.

Ferriday hosts Newman today in a contest which will be played at Vidalia High because the Ferriday gym floor sweats from the humidity at times.
