The Miss-Lou was well-represented on Mississippi Private School Association teams.

Trinity senior guard Kris Thomson was named District 6A Central’s most valuable player.

Joining Thomson on the first team were teammates Bobby Craig, and John Bass, while Chad Ridley was named to the second team.

Thomson averaged 20.32 points a game and dished out 9.6 assists a game.

Craig led the Saints with 21.73 points a game and had 93 3-pointers.

Bass scored 12.5 points a game and had 62 3-pointers.

Heading up the girls team is Robin Rae Burns of Tensas Academy, who was named most valuable player.

Burns was named MVP of the MPSA&160;Class A-AA All-Star Game this past weekend.

Trinity Episcopal was represented on the team by Sarah Kirby and Sara Greer.

Emily Hazlip of Huntington was also named to the squad.

Hazlip averaged 12.7 points a game for the Lady Hounds.

Beth Waters and Shelby Alford of Tensas were also named to the first team.

Named to the second team were Lauren Tanner, Ashley Kingsafer and Becky Bass of Trinity. Sarah Ashmore of Huntington and Tabitha Kelly of Tensas.

Adams County Christian School was represented on the All-District South AAAA&160;team as Laurie Ann Davis, Bethany Gamberi and Amanda Walker were all named to the first team.

Davis averaged 12 points and had nine rebounds a game.

Trey Mardis was named to the boys squad.

Mardis averaged 7 points a game and 12 assists per contest.

Named as honorable mentions were Katie Anders and Rebecca Rabb.
