Both hope to have the same success of the Natchez Middle School track team which won the Southwest Conference championship in the boys and girls divisions Thursday in Liberty.

Bulldog head coach Henry&uot;Doc&uot; Woods said his team will be a bit shorthanded with members of the team with the Natchez High Choir in Washington D.C.

Also, sprinter Natalie Noble is nursing a pulled muscle.

&uot;We’re just trying to get ready for district,&uot; Woods said. &uot;We just want to get as muck work as we can in this meet. Baton Rouge has a good track program, and many of their kids run in the USA Track and Field.&uot;
