Democratic candidates file campaign finance reports

Three of four candidates vying for city offices in the upcoming Democratic runoff filed campaign finance reports on Tuesday.
F.L. &uot;Hank&uot; Smith, a mayoral candidate, and Dr. Fredericka Todd and Donnie Holloway, city clerk candidates, filed their reports with the city clerk’s office.
According to clerk Frances Trosclair, incumbent Mayor Larry L. &uot;Butch&uot; Brown did not file the report by the 5 p.m. deadline.
Filings on Tuesday are complete through May 6 and cover receipts and disbursements made between April 23 and May 6.
Those reports include the following information:
Donnie Holloway
Holloway reported $1,845 in itemized and non-itemized contributions this period, with a year-to-date total of $4,430.
He reported total disbursements this period, itemized and non-itemized, of $1,302.75 and year-to-date of $3,207.75.
Holloway reported cash on hand of $1,222.25.
On receipts, Holloway itemized 37 percent of his contributions this period, or $700. Those included:
— Jerry Krouse, Natchez, $200.
— Lady Luck, Natchez, $200.
— Randy Hazlip, Natchez, $300.
Holloway’s report includes the following itemized deductions (aggregate amounts are in parenthesis):
— The Natchez Democrat, advertising, $784.40.
— Kimbrell’s Office Supply, Natchez, fliers, $246.10.
— WQNZ, radio advertising, $272.25.
F.L. &uot;Hank&uot; Smith
Smith reported $6,449 in itemized and non-itemized contributions this period, with a total contributions to date amount of $17,149.
He reported total disbursements this period, itemized and non-itemized, of $2,709, with disbursements to date at $11,240.
He reported cash on hand of $5,909.
On receipts, Smith itemized 34 percent of his contributions, or $2,250. Those included:
— S.A. Hoover Trust, West Monroe, La., $500.
— William Marion Smith, attorney, Natchez, $1,000. (Smith aggregate year-to-date contribution is $1,500).
— And Preferred Transport Inc., Natchez, $750.
Smith’s report includes the following itemized deductions (aggregate amounts are in parenthesis):
— The Natchez Democrat, advertising, $1,654 ($3,568 to date)
— WQNZ-FM, advertising, $445.50 ($1,353 year to date)
— WTYJ, radio advertising, $281.60 ($751.60 year to date).
Dr. Fredericka C. Todd
Todd reported $1,124 in itemized and non-itemized receipts this period, with a year-to-date total in contributions of $11,370.
She reported disbursements, itemized and non-itemized, of $2,797.11 this period, with $8,965 in year-to-date disbursements.
She reported $2,405 in cash on hand.
Todd itemized 99 percent of her receipts, or $1,119.
Those included:

— Jerry B. Owens, Jackson, used car dealer, $200.
