Natchez High senior Charles Thompson plays the role of drill sergeant as he teaches freshmen trumpet players in the Natchez High band how to execute commands, march and practice uniform stride. A band training session was held at Natchez High School Thursday to teach all freshmen the needed skills for participation in the band.
