How sweet it is. A win for Adams County Christian School was a long time coming, but for Rebels coaches and players, it was worth the wait.

&uot;I’ll sleep tonight,&uot; said ACCS coach Bo Swilley. &uot;We got a win, and I’ll feel good about that.&uot;

Rebels linebacker Boo Burchfield agreed. &uot;It feels good,&uot; he said. &uot;I’d like for it to happen again.&uot;

ACCS quarterback Ty Smith enjoyed the win, but is far from satisfied.

&uot;I feel like we’ve won more than one. We’ve had a few close ones,&uot; he said. &uot;It’s hard to put that much work into practice all season and not have anything to show for it.&uot;

But only one game into their district season, the Rebels have a chance to salvage the year with a play-off bid, Smith said.

&uot;We just need to focus on Silliman next week,&uot; he said. &uot;We can finish second in district, go to the play-offs.

&uot;I know we can do it.&uot;
