Since 1990, the Sydney A. Murray Jr. Hydroelectric Station has been a source of power for Vidalia residents. Station engineer Billy Lee above, stands in the shaft of one of the eight low head turbines in the power station. Recently some residents have questioned the need for a rate increase on their electricity bills.
