Tornado-like storm damages Centreville

CENTREVILLE – Centreville Police Chief Jimmy Ray Reese said the Centreville community received what appears to be tornado damage early Monday morning.
&uot;I can’t say it was definitely a tornado,&uot; he said. &uot;It appears to be.&uot;
Power lines and trees were knocked down throughout the town, some uprooted and some broken off about halfway up, he said. One house received severe damage from being struck by two pine trees and another tree fell on the hood of a car barely missing injury to a man in the car with his wife and child, Reese said.
