Rain out

Vidalia firstbaseman Bryan Bennett (No. 14) reaches for the throw Monday night as Caldwell’s Jon Duff (No. 11) dives back to the bag on a pickoff attempt. Duff was safe at first. The game was eventually stopped because of rain in the top of the fourth inning with the score tied at four. &uot;It was cold and miserable,&uot; said Vidalia head coach Johnny Lee Hoffpauir. Because the game did not go four full innings, it is officially an unfinished game. Hoffpauir said that because Vidalia was facing a non-district opponent, the game will not be made up. &uot; The only good thing out of it was that we got to sell a few hamburgers at the concession stand,&uot; he joked.
