Makalani Jones ad libs a little on the trumpet Sunday afternoon during the BBQ Blues Brunch at Kings Tavern on Jefferson Street in Natchez. Jones plays for Blue Seven, a blues and jazz band made up of Alcorn State University professors and students. Blue Seven was one of several bands that played during brunch at various restaurants around Natchez as part of the Natchez Bluff Blues Fest.
