McLaurin, Morgantown and Tensas Academy elementary school students laugh Thursday as the &uot;emperor,&uot; played by Ben Schuman realizes he has been tricked during a presentation at Bradenton School of the &uot;Emperor’s New Clothes&uot; by Hans Christian Andersen with music written by Douglas Moore. The presentation is part of the Educational Outreach Opera Program that will bring opera music to 15,000 first through sixth-graders during May. The program is held in conjunction with the Natchez Opera Festival, and singers from the festival perform for the program.
