Natchez firemen Casey Smith, right, and Shawn Perry, left, don oxygen masks Monday afternoon before entering Adams County Nursing Center. A chemical reaction in the Center created irritating fumes and an odor. None of the residents were injured, but 10 nurses who were exposed to the fumes were sent to the hospital, according to center administrator Eddie Crow.
