Celebrities will turn out next week for Natchez Children’s home benefit

NATCHEZ – Some big names are making their way to Natchez in an effort to help underprivileged youth.
A celebrity gala and auction for the Natchez Children’s Home will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at Monmouth Plantation.
Celebrity Players Golf Tour members Steve Bartkowski, (a former All-Pro quarterback with the Atlanta Falcons who attended this event last year), Steve Gatlin (one-third of the country music group The Gatlin Brothers) and Joe West (Major League Baseball umpire) will be at this special event to entertain guests and auction signed sports memorabilia and several trips and packages to benefit the Natchez Children’s Home.
Among the items for the silent and live auction are a baseball case with 11 autographed baseballs; a Hall of Fame display case with Mike Schmidt, Johnny Bench, and Carlton Fisk baseballs; a Charles Barkley basketball; footballs from Dan Marino, John Elway, Emmitt Smith, Jim Brown and Joe Thiesmann; Celebrity Players Tour event framed, autographed pictures; and travel and hunting packages.
All proceeds from this event will benefit the Natchez Children’s Home.
