FERRIDAY, La. – A Ferriday man turned himself in to police Sunday in connection with the alleged kidnapping of his former girlfriend Saturday night.

Benjamin Harris, 22, of 117 Weaver St. in Ferriday, was arrested on a charge of aggravated kidnapping and transferred to the Concordia Parish Jail.

Harris’ former girlfriend, whose name was not available Sunday, told police that after she stopped her car to talk to Harris, he jumped into the car and threatened her with gun, said Police Chief Bobby Sheppard.
