Lt. Brian Stevens of the Louisiana Army National Guard will be leading Vidalia’s 1086th Transportation Company to the company headquarters in Bunkie today. The 1086th includes men and women from the Miss-Lou area. The troops and their equipment expect to travel on Carter Street (Highway 84) from the foot of the Mississippi River Bridge west toward Ferriday at approximately 1:45 p.m. today for a patriotic send-off.
