Bringing drugs lands prisoner’s brother in jail

VIDALIA, La. &045; Christopher C. Coldiron, 32, was arrested Tuesday night for allegedly bringing illegal drugs in Concordia Parish Jail for his brother &045; who was arrested on Friday on drug charges, according to a press release.
Jailer Michael Lloyd reportedly discovered the drugs when checking the items Matthew Colidron was bringing to his brother.
&uot;It’s a real challenge to keep drugs out of a jail,&uot; Sheriff Randy Maxwell said. &uot;And he (Lloyd) did a great job.&uot;
Christopher Coldiron was charged with introducing contraband into a jail or prison, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of schedule II drugs (two counts). He was magistrated in Seventh District Court Wednesday, and bond was set at $52,500.
Matthew Coldiron was booked on charges of possession of a controlled and dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance
with intent to distribute.
His bond was set at $57,000.
