CROWVILLE, La. &045; Michael Randall had 164 yards from scrimmage and scored three touchdowns, and Tony Hawkins had two touchdowns as Class 2A’s second-ranked Vidalia Vikings routed the Crowville Bulldogs 57-0 Friday night.
The win by the Vikings (9-0, 3-0), combined with Ferriday’s 27-14 win over McCall, sets up a showdown for the District 4-A championship this Friday night as the Concordia Parish rivals meet in Vidalia.
Randall had eight carries for 124 yards and scored on runs of 3 and 5 yards and scored on a two-point conversion in the first quarter as the Vikings jumped out to a 16-0 lead and never looked back.
&uot;We came out and jumped on them,&uot; Vidalia assistant head coach Gary Paul Parnham said. &uot;Randall had a good game. Our offensive line did a good job opening holes for Michael and Tony and our other backs.&uot;
Randall then caught a 40-yard touchdown pass from Hawkins, who was 4-of-6 for 67 yards, early in the second quarter.
C.J. Williams scored the Vikings’ next two touchdowns in the second quarter, first on a 6-yard run and then on a 57-yard interception return for a 37-0 halftime lead.
Despite the lopsided win, Vidalia had its problems slowing down Crowville running back Dequincy Gordon, who had 137 yards rushing on 20 carries.
&uot;Defensively we had a couple of breakdowns,&uot; Parnham said. &uot;Gordon had a couple of big runs (55 and 44 yards), but we kept them out of the end zone. Size-wise, they’re big. For a 3-6 team, Gordon is good.&uot;
Hawkins scored on a 62-yard run to finish with 137 all-purpose yards on the night.
Stephen Cooper scored on a 28-yard run late in the third quarter and Chase Clayton finished the scoring barrage with a 48-yard run in the fourth quarter.
Ferriday 27, McCall 14
FERRIDAY, La. &045; Theotis Cummings was too much for the slumping Dragons to handle as he rushed for 162 yards and a touchdown as the Trojans also stayed undefeated in District 4-2A with the win Friday night.
Cummings scored on a 1-yard run with 9:31 to go in the first quarter, and Chris Sheppard had a 20-yard touchdown catch from Scotty Cage as Ferriday (4-5, 3-0) took a 13-6 halftime lead.
Cage finished 9-of-22 for 94 yards and no interceptions for the Trojans. Sheppard had five catches for 47 yards. Ferriday finished with just over 400 yards of total offense.
Montago Tennessee added a pair of short touchdown runs in the second half to end any hopes of a comeback by McCall (3-6, 1-2).
Block 48, Newellton 0
NEWELLTON, La. &045; Demetrius Duncan had 162 yards rushing on just five carries and three touchdowns as the 10th-ranked and visiting Bears cruised to a big win over the host Bears in a District 4-1A game Friday night.

Demetrius Bowie was 4 of 10 passing for 168 yards, including an 80-yard touchdown pass to Jamarcus Crumpton in the second quarter as Block jumped out to a commanding 34-0 halftime lead.
Eddie Wilkerson added 84 yards rushing and two touchdowns on six carries and had one catch for 30 yards and Michael Griffin had 56 yards on five carries and a touchdown.
