WESSON &045; Friday night’s Division 7-1A/2A/3A matchup between the Cathedral Lady Green Wave and the Wesson Lady Cobras was an important one for both teams.

A win by Cathedral would have been huge &045; a tie with Wesson at 2-2 in division play and a chance to eventually make the playoffs. A win by Wesson would have meant a 3-1 division mark and making Cathedral’s road to the playoffs more difficult.

Wesson’s Amber Brown made sure she and her Lady Cobra teammates would make the playoffs by scoring four goals in a 5-2 win over the Lady Green Wave.
