Check out web site for fishing info

A growing number of fishermen and women are now on-line visiting the many boating and fishing related sites on the World Wide Web. The latest local site is up but still under construction. Check out my site at www.fishing-witheddie.com. You can register as user and post topics and comments on the FWE Boards.
The final results and pictures of the 7.24-pound winning bass from last weekend’s Isle of Capri, Natchez Big Bass tournament are posted on the FWE home page. Go to the FWE Boards and click on Lunker. A picture of Danny Smith’s 10.75-bass caught from Lake Concordia back in August is one of the many highlights of the Lunker Board. If you land a big bass, crappie or any interesting fish, send me a digital picture and I’ll post it for you if you can’t figure out how.
We have a gallery where you can post pictures of anything related to fishing. Boat pics are welcome. Again, if you have trouble posting pictures, just send it to me with a brief description of the catch. Include date, lake, lure and the story. The site has only been up a little more than a week and we have more than 500 hits.
For boat set-up info go to Performance Boating. I plan to have everything from jack plate info, motor height starting point, how to adjust your jack plate, trolling motor modifications and more. Topics will include outboard prop selection and many tips to help you fine-tune your rig for maximum performance.
Click on my Sponsor Links for info on the latest and greatest fishing equipment available. Check out the new Kipawa High Performance Trolling Motor Props. I’ll be field-testing Kipawa props and posting performance info soon. This new prop is supposed to give your trolling motor more thrust and cut through the thick moss without bogging down.
The Mississippi River is in the unpredictable mode. There was a fall in the forecast starting today but that turned into a rise overnight. The river stage at Natchez today is 26.4 and it looks like it’s going to 30 feet before the next fall comes down-river. That means we’ll catch some good fish on the Old River in October.
You can check the river stages on my site. Go to Links from my home page. Click on Fishing Related and then Vicksburg Corps. You can check the river stages daily.
We’re real excited about my new site. Please feel free to join us in the Lounge and list your suggestions and comments.
