NATCHEZ &045; A structure fire at the International Paper site Thursday night made the job a little easier for demolition workers Friday.

A structure slated for demolition caught fire when workers were using a cutting torch around 11 p.m. Thursday night, Natchez Fire Department Cmdr. Chris Gibson said.

Natchez firemen extinguished the blaze on the building set to be torn down Friday. Because the building was set for destruction the fire recorded no losses.

No one was injured.
