MCCALL CREEK – Services for Jerry Paul Jones, 62, of McCall Creek, who died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, at St. Dominic Hospital, will be 2 p.m. today at Ebenezer United Methodist Church.

Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home.

Visitation is from 8 a.m. until service time today at the church.

NATCHEZ – Services for Ira Williams, 98, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, at Franklin County Hospital in Meadville, will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Darby Combs officiating.

Burial will be in the Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Laird Funeral home.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today the funeral home.

Mr. Williams was born May 3, 1906, the son of the late Rufus A. and Adline Boyte Williams. He was a member of Cranfield Baptist Church and a longtime member of the Adams County Water Association. He was retired from Armstrong Rubber Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; one sister; and wives, Jennie Williams and Margie Scott Williams.

Survivors include a son, Carroll Williams and wife, June, of Roxie; daughter, Irene Smith of McNair; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Elliott Stebbins, Brady Stebbins, Wayne Smith, Ken Williams, Chris Strong, George Roberson, and Michael Williams.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Baptist Childrens Village, Jackson, Miss.

FERRIDAY, La. – Services for infant Roderick Smith, eight months, of Natchez, who died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be 10 a.m. today at Concordia Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Scott Jr. officiating.

Burial will be in Mt. Sinai Baptist Church Cemetery in Sibley under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Survivors include his father, Roger Lee Johnson Sr. of Natchez; mother, Tanya Renee Smith of La.; two brothers, Roger Lee Johnson Jr. and Roderkus T. Johnson, both of Natchez; grandparents, Nathaniel Green, Mary Lee Johnson, and Jonnie Mae Buchannan, all of Natchez; a host of other relatives.
