WATERPROOF, La. &045;&045; Services for Leola Richardson Haynes, 91, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Waterproof, who died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, at the Memorial Hospital Southwest in Houston, will be 11 a.m. today at Springfield Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie Moses officiating.

Burial will be in the Loamland Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation is from 9 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Mrs. Haynes was born Sept. 24, 1913, in Vidalia, La., the daughter of the late Johnny and Josephine Duncan Richardson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Joe Haynes.

Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Rogers Haynes and wife, Eugenia, and Johnny Preston Haynes, all of Missouri City, Texas; daughter, Bessie Mae Haynes Williams of Dallas, Texas; brother, Herman Richardson and wife, Lillian, of New Orleans, La.; two sisters, Maude Woodside and Cleotha Richardson, both of Vidalia, La.; grandchild, Marlon Ellis of Houston, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

NATCHEZ &045;&045; Funeral arrangements for Willie McGraw, 93, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, at Natchez Community Hospital, are incomplete at Webb Funeral System.

Deloris (Loe) Jones

NATCHEZ &045;&045; Services for Deloris (Loe) Jones, 55, who died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, at her residence, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at St. Mary’s Basilica with Rev. Evertte Jones officiating.

Burial will follow at Pinehill Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home of Natchez.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home today and from noon to 1 p.m. at the church Sunday.

Mrs. Jones was born Sept. 17, 1949 in Natchez, the daughter of Hattie Whiting Jones and the late Curtis Jones.

She was employed as a bus driver, cook and certified nursing assistant before retirement.

She was a member of Church of God in Christ and was a member of the Wisemen hunting club.

Survivors include her mother, Hattie Whiting Jones of Natchez, two sons, Kim and wife Sharon Singleton and Monroe and wife Leslie Bennett of Natchez; three daughters, Amessha and husband Jarvis Washington, Nicole and husband Leroy Davis and Veronica Fells of Natchez; two brothers, Rev. Everett and wife Bessie Jones of Dallas and Ernerst and wife Laura Jones of Natchez; three sisters, Annie Jones, Lugenia Thomas and Laura and husband Alfred Whittley of Natchez; 13 grandchildren, five uncles, two aunts, very special cousins, Nelda Faye Washington and Ada Petterson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and a very special friend Donald &uot;Mule&uot; Wimberly.

Leola Hickombottom Perry

HARLEM, N.Y. &045;&045; Services for Leola Hickombottom Perry, 81, who died Monday, Dec. 27, 2004 at Jacobi Hospital in Bronx, N.Y., will be at Riverton Chapel, Harlem, N.Y., with Rev. Jerry Mosby officiating.

Burial will be under the direction of Timothy Davis Funeral Systems in Harlem.

A special memorial celebration dinner will be held at the Metropolitan Museum of Arts.

Perry was born on Oct. 16, 1923 in Natchez, the daughter of Clementine and Clarence Hickombottom.

She attended Brumfield High School and Bellevue Hospital Nursing School and worked in pediatric nursing in New York for over 30 years.

She was a long time member of Refuge Temple, Harlem, N.Y.

She enjoyed collecting antiques, gardening and cooking and volunteered to aid babies of those addicted to drugs.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jethro Perry; her parents; and seven siblings, Clarence, Elijah, Willie, Albert, Lee Esther, Flora and Gladys.

Survivors include her only child, Donna Harrison of Bronx, N.Y., her sisters, Temple Lee Hickombottom and Annie Laura Lewis of Biloxi, Percy Hickombottom of Chicago; her sister-in-law, Leola Hatton Hickombottom; her aunt, Serilla Miller of Natchez and a host of other nieces, nephews and cousins throughout the United States.
