Natchez man arrested after shots fired

NATCHEZ &045; Shots fired from a home on East First Street led to the arrest of one man Tuesday afternoon.
Michael Bacon, 48, 508 East First St., was arrested on one count of shooting into an occupied dwelling just before 5 p.m.
Chief Mike Mullins said preliminary investigations have shown Bacon was in a dispute with a female neighbor because she had allegedly turned her car around in his yard.
&uot;He allegedly fired four times toward her house with an 12-gauge shotgun,&uot; Mullins said.
The neighbor was inside her house when the shots were fired, but she was not injured.
Police recovered four shell casings at the scene and several shotgun pellets in her house, Mullins said.
NPD received the call of the shooting around 4:42 p.m.
No bond has been set for Bacon.
