Tuesnoe murder trial begins today

NATCHEZ &045; The trial of the man charged with murder in the August 2004 Huddle House shooting is set to start at 9 a.m. today.
Jim Tuesnoe IV was indicted on a charge of murder in the Aug. 15, 2004 death of Jesse Lamark Garrison.
Garrison, of Ferriday, La., was allegedly involved in an altercation with Tuesnoe. Authorities responded to the U.S. 61 Huddle House parking lot in the early morning hours to find Garrison shot four times. He was later pronounced dead at Natchez Regional Hospital.
Tuesnoe fled the scene but later turned himself in to police.
At the time of the incident Police Chief Mike Mullins said there were several witnesses to the crime and part of the incident was caught on the restaurant’s surveillance tape.
Potential jurors were told to report at 8:30 a.m. today. Jury selection should start at 9.
