Centreville gets road win against Central Private

BAKER, La. &8212; Jeffrey DeLee had 154 yards of total offense and two interceptions on defense as the Centreville Tigers rolled to a big win over the Rebels Friday night.

DeLee had 76 yards rushing and two touchdown runs to go and was the leading receiver for Centreville (4-6) with 78 yards on just three catches.

Nick Goudeau also had a big game for the Tigers on the ground with 113 yards rushing on 20 carries and a pair of 5-yard touchdown runs.

Centreville quarterback Josh Lanehart had a touchdown pass and had an interception on defense.

Central Private (1-8) had four passes intercepted. The only bright spots for the Rebels were a couple of touchdown runs by Josh Johns and a 66-yard touchdown pass from Dylan Smylie to Sonny Stockstill.

The Rebels trailed just 25-14 at halftime, but a touchdown each by Goudeau and DeLee in the fourth quarter put the game away.

Tensas 35, Amite School Center 8

ST. JOSEPH, La. &8212; Tensas&8217; offense had its most productive game of the season with 541 yards of total offense &045; 428 of those on the ground &045; as the Chiefs (5-5) defeated the Rebels from Liberty.

Will Ratcliff, Mike McWilliams and Cody Hill accounted for 347 total rushing yards and three touchdowns.

Hill also blocked a punt and returned it 46 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter and added a 30-yard field goal in the fourth quarter.

Bennett Schauf threw for 113 yards, including a 17-yard touchdown pass to Ryan Borsch in the fourth quarter.

Casey Aldridge scored the only touchdown for Amite School Center (2-8) on an 80-yard kickoff return after Hill&8217;s field goal.
