NATCHEZ &8212; With two disaster recovery centers in the Miss-Lou, local evacuees have a choice about where they get FEMA assistance.
While both centers have seen a steady flow of visitors, they are sure there are more people out there.
&8220;They should come in and see us so we can explain the whole program to them and their options,&8221; said Margie Zia, the manager of the Concordia Parish DRC on the Vidalia riverfront.
Representatives from the Natchez DRC said they feel the same way, and are trying to get the word out about its location in the D.H. Wilson Center at 225 Wilson Road.
&8220;We&8217;ve put up new signs, put out fliers, talked at churches and now we&8217;re going to the newspaper again,&8221; said Joann Fleming, a Mississippi Emergency Management Agency representative.
No money&8217;s being handed out at either center &8212; only answers to the public&8217;s questions.
Times and agencies represented vary from center to center, but anyone from the affected area needing help is welcome at either.
The FEMA officials at the center are there to take new applications, check on the status of pending applications and help people through the process of finding temporary housing, be it a rental property or a mobile home.
The DRC in Natchez is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Other agencies, their schedules and ways they can help:

The Department of Insurance has officials in the center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to answer questions.
