DOES ANYONE KNOW &8230;&8230; John Wilson (

Wilson950@aol.com

) has been looking for several years to find where JOHN WILSON who was living in Lawrence County, MS., in 1824, came from. He was on several tax lists in the 1820s. He married MARY JANE &8220;JENNY&8221; NORMAN in 1824 also in Lawrence County. He is not listed on the 1830 Census of Lawrence County. But he IS listed on a BENJAMIN WILSON&8217;S will in Lawrence County, MS., in the 1830s. There is no other record of him to be found.

From Bible and census&8217; records, he and Jane had a son, RODOLPHUS WILSON, born in December 1838. On the 1840 Census, Jane is head of household in Pike County, MS. Jane had a first husband, HIRAM NORMAN, whom she married in 1815 in Marion County, MS., and lived in Lawrence and Amite Counties. Hiram died in 1819. Can any reader help?
