TYLERTOWN &8212; With point guards Caitlin Huffines and Mandy Richardson out with ankle injuries, Cathedral wasn&8217;t expected to go on the road and defeat Dexter Tuesday night.
Even though the game was being played at Salem&8217;s gym due to damage done at Dexter due to Hurricane Katrina, this Region 7-1A game was still a home game for the Lady Bulldogs.
It still didn&8217;t matter as Kristian Dobard and Claire Kenda had double-doubles to lead the Lady Green Wave to a stunning 46-40 win for their first win in 7-1A and their second win all season.
&8220;We found a way to hang on and win tonight,&8221; CHS head coach Kathy Graning said. &8220;It was a big win for us.&8221;
