VIDALIA &8212; Services for Maudella R. Woodside, 94, of Vidalia, who died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be held at 11 a.m. today, at Union Baptist Church in Vidalia.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 10:45 a.m. today at the church.

Ms. Woodside was born in Sawyer, La., the daughter of Johnny and Josephine Richardson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Georgia Lee Woodside.

She is survived by five sons, Leonard Feltus and wife Ilene and Harvey Woodside and wife Helen of Sacramento, Calif., Harry Woodside and Herman Woodside and wife Gloria of New Orleans, and Theodore Woodside and wife Cathy of San Jose, Calif.; five daughters, Catherine Hayes of New Orleans, Lela Williams and husband Henry of Riverside, Calif., Maudella Barksdale and Francis Woodside of Vidalia, and Linda Spears of Humble, Texas; five grandchildren she reared, Keith Woodside of Houston, Texas, Cedric Woodside of Norcross, Ga., Patricia Pea and husband Alexander of Upper Marlboro, Md., Wanell Woodside of Vidalia and Tedric Williams and wife Demetrius of Pineville, La.; a brother, Herman Earl Richardson of New Orleans; a sister, Cleo Richardson of Vidalia; 49 grandchildren; 71 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a number of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Ronnie Walker

July 20, 1956-Feb. 1, 2006

SAN DIEGO, Calif. &8212; Services for Ronnie Walker, 49, of San Diego, who died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2006, at the Kaiser Community Hospital in San Diego, will be held at noon Friday at Pleasant Green Baptist Church in Natchez with the Rev. Jerry Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow in Watkins Cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral System.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10:30 until time of service at the church.

Mr. Walker was born July 20, 1956, in Natchez, the son of Queen Ella and Alex Walker. He was a graduate of North Natchez High School and attended Alcorn State University and was a band member at both schools. He was employed by the Marriott Hotel chain.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Prentiss Walker.

He is survived by a son, Darryl Walker of Columbia; his mother, Queen Ella Walker of Natchez; three sisters, Willie M. Williams and husband Robert of Natchez, Rebecca Powell and husband George of Baton Rouge, and Linda Walker of New York; four brothers, Charles E. Walker and wife Anne of Natchez, Eugene Walker of Cleveland, Ohio, Otis Walker and wife Pamela of Ann Arbor, Mich., and Clinton Walker and wife Sandra of Louisville; and one aunt, Viola Webb of Natchez.

Pallbearers will be Donald Kaho, Carl Anderson, Otis Hawkins, Charles Screws, Anthony Walker and Rubin Calvit. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Williams Sr., George Powell, Tyrone Williams, Robert Williams Jr., and Andrew Calvit.

Robert Clinton Fountain

Nov. 17, 1949-Feb. 2, 2006

FERRIDAY &8212; Services for Robert Clinton Fountain, 56, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2006, at his residence, will be held at noon Friday at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Eugene Williams officiating.

Burial will follow in the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until service time at the church.

Mr. Fountain was born Nov. 17, 1949, in Ferriday, the son of Walker Fountain and Ruby Price.

He is survived by his wife, Angela Edwards Fountain of Ferriday; his mother, Ruby Price Reed of Chicago; two sons, Robert and Jermaine Norris of Chicago; one daughter, Yolanda Clayton of Jackson; one sister, Freddie Reed-Davis and husband Marlow of Chicago; four grandchildren; and one aunt, Emma Anderson of Ferriday.

Steven Lockhart Brown

March 27, 1951-Feb. 6, 2006

NATCHEZ &8212; Memorial services for Steven Lockhart Brown, 54, of Natchez, who died Monday, Feb. 6, 2006, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, from Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel.

Mr. Brown was born March 27, 1951, in Montgomery, Ala., the son of Grover Cleveland Brown and Marguerite Lockhart Brown. Mr. Brown worked for many years as a part of Aquarius Farm in Jefferson County before he relocated to Marco Island, Fla., where he worked for a number of years with Marriot Hotel before returning to Natchez.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Cleve Brown and Mike Brown.

He is survived by two sons, Steven Sims Brown of Mansfield, La., and Justin Cleveland Brown of Columbus; one daughter, Anna Lockhart Brown of Columbus; his parents, Major General Grover Cleveland Brown, USAF retired and Marguerite Lockhart Brown of Natchez; a sister, Keri McClellan of Naples, Fla.; one aunt, Dora Conley of Natchez; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Thomas C. Lee

MEADVILLE &8212; Services for Thomas Christopher Lee, 72, of Meadville, who died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006, at Franklin County Memorial Hospital in Meadville, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Praise Cathedral Church in Meadville.

Burial will be held in Byrd&8217;s Chapel Cemetery, Franklin County, under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home.
