Mabel McMillan, 83, of Magnolia,
Ark., formerly of Natchez, who
died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006,
at Arkansas Heart Hospital in
Little Rock, Ark., were held Feb.
17, 2006, at Lewis Funeral
Home Chapel with Leon Watson
officiating.
Burial will be held today at 2
p.m. in Greenlawn Memorial
Park Cemetery in Natchez under
the direction of Lewis Funeral
Home of Magnolia, Ark.
Mrs. McMillan was born May
20, 1922 in Tolar, Texas, the
daughter of Jack Lester and
Verna Tidwell Graham. She was
a homemaker and a member of
Jackson Street Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by
her parents; her husband,
James Clifton McMillan.
She is survived by her
daughter, Karen Bridges and
husband Rickey of Magnolia,
Ark.; two sons, Steve McMillan
and wife Karen of Lafayette and
James McMillan of Magnolia,
Ark.; one sister, Cherry Harris of
Dangerfield, Texas; one brother,
Jerry Graham of Phoenix, Ark.;
four granddaughters, three step
grandsons, ten great
grandchildren, two nephews and
a host of friends.
Memorials may be made to
Jackson Street Church of Christ.

the Rev. Dave Carlton officiating.
Burial will follow in
Harrisonburg Cemetery under
the direction of Young’s Funeral
Home of Jonesville, La.
Visitation will be held from 5 to
9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral
home.

Mr. Maiden was born March 13,
1950 in Woodville, the son of
Robert Maiden and Rose Lee
Hawkins Maiden.
He was preceded in death by
his parents; one sister, Daisy
Lee Harrison; one brother, Elmo
Maiden.
He is survived by his wife,
Linda Turner Maiden of Houston;
one daughter, LaTeshia Maiden;
one son, Kendrick Maiden; one
granddaughter, Ierya Johnson,
all of Houston; three sisters,
Dollie Carter and husband
William, Betty Maiden of
Woodville and Ronnie Chambers
of Baker, La.; one uncle, Berthal
Maiden of Baton Rouge; two
aunts, Leatha Hawkin and
Elizabeth Butler of Baton Rouge;
one great aunt, Jessie Mae
Robinson of Woodville; a host of
nieces, nephews, other relatives
and friends.
Pallbearers will be friends of
the family.
