FERRidAY &8212; A Ferriday woman lost her mobile home in a fire Friday.

Assistant Fire Chief Joe Sontoyo said dispatch received a call at 10:43 a.m. that a trailer at 412 Jordan Alley was on fire.

&8220;We arrived on the scene two minutes later to find smoke and flames coming out the middle-bedroom window,&8221; Sontoyo said.

Sontoyo said the Concordia Parish and Ridgecrest fire department assisted in putting out the fire.

&8220;We had the fire out in an hour and luckily no one was home at the time of the incident,&8221; Sontoyo said.

Sontoyo said the home belonged to Tammie Robinson and that it is not reparable.

Robinson is now living with her mother.

Sontoyo said an electrical short caused the fire.
