NATCHEZ &8212; Models will strut their stuff in a fashion show Sunday for the second year in a row to benefit Holy Family School.

The show will feature local volunteers showing off their best duds in the categories of sportswear, career wear, church, after-work and a wedding scene for the finale.

&8220;I wanted to help raise money for the school, and I didn&8217;t know what else to do but put on a fashion show,&8221; show chairwoman Thelma Angelethy said Thursday.

Last year&8217;s show was a big hit, she said. They raised close to $1,500 to help the school. This year, the goal is $2,000, she said.

Organizing such an event with about 20 local adult and child models was a lot of work, but worth it, Angelethy said.

&8220;We want to get people to come out to this event,&8221; she said.

Ira Young, the school&8217;s preschool director, will be one of the models in Sunday&8217;s show.

Young will be wearing vintage clothes, and she said accessories like fishnet stockings, leather and mink were coming back into fashion.

&8220;Since we&8217;re doing it for the school, I get hyped about it,&8221; Young said.

Because she modeled when she was younger, it comes naturally, she said.

The show will be held at the school&8217;s cafeteria 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $10 each, and refreshments will be served.
