Services for Elsie Cone Guin, 93, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with Dr. Edgar Wright officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. today as well as Friday from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Guin was born Sept. 24, 1913, in Itta Bena, the daughter of John Edmon and Elsie Morris Cone. Mrs. Guin was a graduate of Humphries High School in Itta Bena and Southwest Publishing School of Business in Memphis, Tenn. She was a member of Morgantown Baptist Church, Natchez Chapter of Eastern Star and Morgantown Homemakers Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Edward Cone; and son-in-law, Kirk B. Ford.
Survivors include her husband, Bedford R. Guin of Natchez; daughters, Pat Biggers and husband, Gary, of Houston, Texas and Teresa Ford of Woodville; sons, Bedford R. Guin Jr. and wife, Destiny, of Carthage, Texas, Ed B. Guin and wife, Ann, of Charlotte, N.C., and Fred T. Guin and wife, Patsy, of Vidalia; sisters, Ruth Cone LaBerteaux of Paso Robles, Calif. and Mary Cone of Byram; brother, Fred P. Cones of Paso Robles, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Harry C. Ford III, Nathan B. Guin, Matthew K. Pittman, A. Keith Pittman, Royce A. Guin and T. J. Belk.
