Melissa and Madison Simpson did almost all of the scoring for the Lady Wolves as used an 11-5 advantage in the second quarter to defeat the Lady Green Wave.

Melissa Simpson finished with 19 points and Madison Simpson chipped in with 10 points for Monterey. Brandi McGraw and Amanda Richardson had eight points each for Cathedral (1-10).
