Cathedral boys 1, Richland 1

RICHLAND — Richland’s Steven Stanley scored a goal early in the second half allowed this game to finish in a tie.

“It was a nice, wide lofting shot from about 30 yards out,” Green Wave head coach Rick Freeman said. “It went just under the crossbar.”

Cathedral (4-3-2) took a 1-0 lead at the 29th minute of the first half on a goal by Eric Hollowell.

“It deflected off a defender and went to Eric, who was about 22 yards from the goal. He put it in the back of the net,” Freeman said.
