Justin Cardneaux

Services for Mr. Justin Cardneaux, 44, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006, in Waco, Texas, will be held Monday, Dec. 18, 2006, at 10 a.m. from Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel.

Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be today from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Cardneaux was born Feb. 5, 1962 in Lafayette, the son of Carson Andrew and Ella Pourciau Cardneaux.

Mr. Cardneaux attended Trinity Episcopal School, was a graduate of Cathedral High School, Class of 1981, as well as Northeast Louisiana University in 1990. Justin’s joy in life was to help people. He was a major contributor to the Angel Flight program all over the South. Justin’s love of family extended not only to his daughter, Catherine, but enveloped his mother and brother, Chris. His many friends always knew he was available for whatever was needed. People knew Justin as a good, decent person.

Survivors include daughter, Catherine L. Cardneaux of Natchez; mother, Ella Pourciau of Lafayette; brothers, Christopher Cardneaux of Lafayette and Adam P. Cardneaux of Natchez; nephews, Crowell Andrew Cardneaux of Billings, Mont., and Austin P. Cardneaux of Natchez.

Pallbearers will be Crowell Andrew Cardneaux, Donald Killelea, Tim Blalock, Chris Gibson, Roy Mac Vines, Grover Yelverton, Michael E. Corbin and Gerald Frazier.
