Services for Tommy Glen King, 58, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Church of the Way with the Bishop Robert Cade and Pastor Curtis Merritt officiating.
Burial will follow at Sumrall Community Cemetery, in Sumrall, under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home, Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. King was born Sept. 6, 1948, in Sumrall, the son of Gus and Velma King. He attended Word of Faith Church in Natchez. He was an electrical technician.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian Thomas King of Ferriday; sons, Stephon Underwood and wife, Tabitha, of Beaumont, Texas, Timothy King and wife, Angela, Thomas King and wife, Tacarra, all of Lumberton, and Ronald King and wife, Tara, of Atlanta, Ga.; daughters, Tracie Knight of Florida and Nikki Harper and husband, Damone, of Flint, Mich.; brothers, Donald King and wife, Debbie, of Sumrall and Jerry King of Jonesboro, Ga.; sisters, Barbara Joseph of Rock Hill, Conn., Dorothy Lewis and husband, Curtis, of Foxworth, Gussie Conner and husband, Melvin, Sandra Guy and husband, Clarence, all of Sumrall; 16 grandchildren; mother-in-law, Geneva Caston of Ferriday; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Oliver and husband, the Rev. L. B. Oliver, of Ferriday, Katye Walker of Shreveport, Lora Glover of Jacksonville, Fla., Erica Coachman and husband, Tyrone, and Thalia Woodruff, all of Goosecreek, S.C.; brothers-in-law, Terrence Thomas and wife, Martha, of Ferriday and Henry Thomas and wife, Fannie, of Naples, Italy.
