Services for our beloved father, Freddie Williams, 54, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Dec. 16,2006, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at Mount Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. Douglas Logan officiating.
Burial will follow at Mercy Seat Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Williams was born July 1, 1952, in Natchez, the son of Henry Williams and Rachel Johnson. He was previously employed with the oil field industry. He was a retired mechanic and owned and operated the Ponderosa Lounge in Sibley. He was a graduate of the South Natchez High School Class of 1972.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and four brothers.
Survivors include his children, LaToya Clark and Ashley Clark, both of Memphis, Tenn., Sharon Galmore of Jackson, Nicole Crocket and husband, Sean, of Natchez, and Sontois Woods and wife, Pam, of Natchez; fiancé, Ida Clark of Natchez; goddaughter, Alaysia Moore of Baton Rouge; grandchildren; siblings, Willie Mae Turner and husband, Wadell, Mary Ann Williams, Brenda Clark, Audrey Jean Williams, Alfreda Clark, Carolyn Fitzgerald, Edward Lyles and wife, Annie, Bennie Williams and wife, Mary, Henry Williams, Irma Jean Williams, Roy Williams, Charles Williams, Cedric Fitzgerald, all of Natchez; uncle, Eddie Williams of Natchez; sister-in-law, Mary Jones Lyles of Natchez; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
