Services for Irene C. Tiffee, 79, of Monterey, who died Friday, Dec. 22, 2006, at Cabrini Medical Center in Alexandria, will be 10 a.m. today at Eva Church of God under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Mrs. Tiffee was born Oct. 19, 1927, in New Era, La., the daughter of Lonnie and Maudell Champlin. She was a lifelong resident of Monterey, a homemaker and a member of the Eva Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Tiffee; her parents; brother, Laures E. Champlin; and sister, Leola Hedrick.

Survivors include daughter, Neeva Sibley and her husband, Rick, both of Monterey; grandsons, Richie Sibley and his wife, Jan, both of Baton Rouge and Stephen Sibley and his wife, Sandra, both of Marksville, La.; and great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Madeleine, Emma and John Philip Sibley.

Pallbearers will be Frank Calkins Jr., Charles Calkins, Scott Tiffee, Corkey Williamson, Doyal Champlin and Tim Beatty.
