Judge Brown

Services for Judge Brown, 85, of Meadville, who died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2006, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center, will be 11 a.m. today at Jerusalem Baptist Church, Kirby.
Burial will follow at Hunt Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time today at the church.
Mr. Brown was born April 16, 1921, in Franklin County, the son of Albert Brown and Fannie Parker.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Berdie Mae Brown; parents; sons, Jerry Lee Brown Sr. and Ronnie Brown Sr.; sisters, Lottie Bee, Eula M. Kelly, and Gary Leggett; and brother, Nathaniel Spriggs.
Survivors include his daughters, Minnie Wilson and husband, Woodrow, of Roxie, Clara Brown, Gladiestine Brown, Carolyn Shaw and husband, Bill, Linda Starks and husband, Van, and Stephanie Hines and husband, Walter Ray, all of Meadville; sons, George Gant Sr. and wife, Pearl, Ray Brown Sr. and Jamey Brown Sr. and wife, Sandra, all of Meadville; a special nephew, Melvin Bee; 45 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
