Services for Lee Edwards, 25, of Jonesville, who died Monday, Jan. 8, 2007, in Jonesville, will be 10 a.m. today at Mayna Church of God with the Rev. Lloyd Trisler and Bro. Junior Trisler officiating.

Burial will follow at Pala Alto Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Lee was born June 16, 1981, in Alexandria, the son of Donna Cotton and Chris Edwards. He was a resident of Jonesville. He worked for FedEx Home Delivery. He attended Mayna Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Sugarcane White; and cousin, Derek Edwards.

Survivors include his mother, Donna Cotton and her husband, Henry, of Jonesville; father, Chris Edwards of Pineville; brother, Ryan Edwards of Jonesville; sister, Demi Edwards of Jonesville; maternal grandmother, Alma Lene White; paternal grandmother, Dee Edwards of Pineville; paternal grandfather, L. D. Edwards of Larto, La.; paternal great-grandmothers, Yvonne Edwards of Larto and Eunice Steagall of Pineville; uncles, Harvey Ray White of Jonesville and Chet Edwards and his wife, Lisa, of Larto; aunt, Cherisse Book and her husband, Kenny, of Larto; step-grandparents, Bro. and Mrs. Ed Cotton of Harrisonburg; and special friends, Amy Creel, Brittany and Slater, all of Jonesville.

Pallbearers will be Wes Edwards, Rocky White, John Orr, Jarret Barton, Chad Franklin, Isreal Kimbrough, Grant Coley, and Larry Crouch.
