Services for Johnnie Lea Wilson, 51, of Parhams, who died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007, will be 10 a.m. today at New Era Baptist Church with the Revs. Huey Tarpley and Dee Stergill officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home, Ferriday.

Mrs. Wilson was born July 23, 1955, the daughter of Aubrey Lee Lipsey and Joanne Lipsey. She was a homemaker and a member of New Era Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Survivors include her husband, Marion Wilson of Parhams; a son, Aubrey Todd Lipsey and wife, Ramona, of Jena; daughter, Raven Lace Sutro and her husband, Sean, of Dallas; grandson, Cain Lipsey of Monterey; father, Aubrey Lee Lipsey of Monterey; and sisters, Pamela Nasif and Phyllis Hall, both of Natchez and Jeannie Lipsey of Monterey.

Pallbearers will be Wil McMillin, Mac McMillin, Lovice Beard, George Nasif, Gene Wilson and Leo Mitchell.
