Services for Marshall “Cowboy” Miller, 92, of Crosby, who died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007, at Lady of the Lake Hospital, in Baton Rouge, will be noon today at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, Highway 24.

Burial will follow at Freewood Cemetery, in Knoxville, Miss., under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home, Bude.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the Kingdom Hall.

Mr. Miller was born Aug. 27, 1914, in Knoxville, the son of Horace Miller and Media Daisy Gibson Miller.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters; a son, two grandsons; and 13 siblings.

Survivors include a devoted wife, Flora Wilson Miller; a daughter, Eddice West of Carson, Calif.; sons, Glenn Miller and wife, Elizabeth, of Detroit and Marshall “Pete” Miller Jr. and wife, Liese, of Baton Rouge; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Jessie Miller Sr. and wife, Mary, of Gloster; a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
