Services for Jerry Shelton Brewer, 68, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007, after a lengthy illness of progressive supra nuclear palsy, will be 2 p.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Revs. Bart Walker and Jeff Brewer officiating.
Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time today.
Mr. Brewer was born Sept. 16, 1938, in McComb, the son of Otis and Frances Hill Brewer. He was a retired logging contractor and a member of Trace Ridge Baptist Church in Ridgeland.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors included Bobby Sue Brewer; their four daughters, Susan B. Hicks of Brandon, Deborah B. Mizell and her husband, Glenn, both of Natchez, Carolyn S. Brewer of Brandon and Trish B. Case and her husband, Dusty, both of Denham Springs, La.; grandchildren, Amanda Mizell Hodges and her husband, Ben, both of Brookhaven, Kellie Case, Brittany Case and Lindsey Case, all of Denham Springs; great-grandsons, Josh and Grayson Hodges, both of Brookhaven; brother, Jimmie C. Brewer and his wife, Judy, both of Natchez; and sister, Patsy B. Ridge of Pineville, N.C.
Pallbearers will be Jack Sojourner, Louie Brown, Robert Dunn, Bobby Harrigill, Donald Roberts and Bill Fletcher.
