Central Private outlasts WCCA in Woodville Thursday

Wilkinson County Christian Academy fell behind early to Central Private and came back, but the Rams could not carry the momentum into the second half and fell by the final of 52-37.
The Rams offense was stymied early as Central Private only allowed four first-quarter points. But the Rams answered back big in the second quarter and took a one-point lead at the half, 22-21.
After allowing the Rams to come back from an early deficit, Central Private bared down in the second half and never looked back.
In the third quarter, Central Private regained the lead by outscoring
WCCA 11-5 to take a 32-27 lead.
The Rams were in striking distance at the start of the fourth, but Central Private carried over the momentum from their third quarter scoring streak and put the game out of reach, winning 52-37.

Northwood-Lena 30
Block used big scoring runs in the first and third quarters to build an early lead, which they never relinquished as they defeated Northwood 68-30.
Blocked jumped ahead from the start. Block scored 21 points in the first quarter to take and eight point lead over Northwood.
Strong defense by Block in the second quarter widen the scoring gap, as Block outscored Northwood 12-4 and took a 33-17 lead at the half.
Block used the third quarter to put the game out of reach, as Northwood only scored two points, while block matched their first quarter total with 21 points. By the end of the period Block led 54-19.
Block set things on cruise control in the fourth quarter, as they eased away with the 68-30 win.
