Memorial services for Joy C. “Connie” Brown Mackey, 62, who died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006, at Skaggs Hospital in Branson, Mo., will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007, at Grace United Methodist Church with the Revs. Dana Goff and Stacy Douglas officiating.

Visitation will be at the church from 2 p.m. until time of service.

Mrs. Mackey was born Nov. 15, 1944, in Port Arthur, Texas, the daughter of Garlon and Ninette Brown of Natchez. She graduated from Natchez-Adams High School in 1962 and attended the University of Southern Mississippi. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. After being employed for several years as a flight attendant with American Airlines, she spent the remainder of her life as a homemaker and devoted mother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Timothy Mackey; and her parents.

Survivors include a daughter, Amanda Caddick and husband, Aaron, of Branson, Mo.; sister, Kathy King and husband, Melton, of Natchez; aunt, Melba Foreman of Natchez; nieces, Kristyn Gray and husband, Jason, of Missouri City, Texas and Amy DePaula and husband, Robert, of New Orleans; a great-niece, Mary Katherine Gray of Missouri City, Texas; and a great-nephew, Jackson Truett Gray of Missouri City, Texas.
